Series includes six gubernatorial debates and forums across the Commonwealth
The candidates for Kentucky governor, Republican Matt Bevin and Democrat Jack Conway, have agreed to participate in six joint appearances, beginning with a candidates forum on June 19 at The Galt House in Louisville.
The schedule is as follows:
June 19: County Judge-Executives / Magistrates Conference – Candidates Forum
July 23: Kentucky Farm Bureau – “Measure the Candidates”
Aug. 1: St. Jerome’s Fancy Farm Picnic
Oct. 6: Centre College
Oct. 25: Eastern Kentucky University
Oct. 26: “Kentucky Tonight – Candidates for Governor”
Along with the six scheduled appearances, the candidates for lieutenant governor, Democrat Sannie Overly and Republican Jenean Hampton, will appear together on the Oct. 19 episode of “Kentucky Tonight.” More joint appearances between the lieutenant governor candidates may be scheduled at a later time.
