NiFi music festival cancelled due to low ticket sales

Sparta, Ky. – The NiFi music festival at the Kentucky Speedway scheduled for Aug. 28 – 30 has been cancelled, according to a post on the festival’s website.

“We simply cannot deliver the NiFi vision and fan experience, at our desired level of excellence, given the lack of sales to day,” the note said.

Tickets will be automatically refunded in full directly by Ticketfly within two weeks.

Three-day passes to the event were $199, and single-day tickets were priced at $99.

Scheduled to perform at the festival were Green Day, Hank Williams Jr., Kings of Leon, Weezer, Miranda Lambert and Spoon.
