Woodland Art Festival to be held in Lexington

Scheduled for Aug. 15-16

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 5, 2015) — The Woodland Art Fair, now in its 40th year, will bring some of the country’s most talented artists to Woodland Park in Lexington from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 16.

artFree and open to the public, individuals will have the opportunity to browse the original works of 200 accomplished artists, enjoy live musical performances and create their own family art. There will also be Kentucky foods and a craft beer garden.

Three shuttles (including one wheelchair-accessible) will be circulating every 10 minutes. Patrons may park in the LexTran Transit Center parking garage (enter from E. High Street near the Lexington Avenue/Martin Luther King Blvd. intersections), the Phoenix parking lot or the Lexington Herald-Leader front parking lot.

For those not walking or driving to the park, a free bike check will be available. Cyclists should park their bikes at the racquetball court.
