Nominations sought for 2012 Ky. Entrepreneur Hall of Fame

(May 7, 2012) — The Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for 2012 inductees.

Nominations can be made at http://www.entrepreneurhof.com/nominate.php.

Some of the past inductees include former Gov. John Y. Brown, who purchased Kentucky Fried Chicken from Colonel Harland Sanders for $2 million in 1964; Dr. Pearse Lyons, founder and president of Alltech; Papa John’s founder John Schnatter; and former University Kentucky president Lee Todd.

“This is a really good opportunity to shine a light on all of the good work that is being done across the state to start, build, and grow companies,” said Bobby Clark, president of Sustainable Business Ventures, who will serve as this year’s master of ceremonies of the Hall of Fame event.
