AEG Facilities to continue operating and managing center
LOUSIVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 13, 2015) — The Louisville Arena Authority voted unanimously at its November board meeting to extend AEG Facilities’ management contract, enabling the global leader in venue management to operate and manage all aspects of the 22,000-seat KFC Yum! Center on behalf of the Louisville Arena Authority until June 30, 2027.
“The Louisville Arena Authority and AEG have had a seamless relationship from the start,” said Louisville Arena Authority Chairman Larry Hayes. “Having a trusted partner that exudes professionalism at every turn and who brings decades of entertainment industry experience to the table has proven invaluable, making it important to us to ensure AEG is committed to Louisville for the long term.”
Since taking over management of the KFC Yum! Center in July 2012, AEG Facilities has brought nearly 150 public concerts and family shows to the city of Louisville and hosted several hundred University of Louisville events alongside dozens of private events.

AEG Facilities also has activated its industry leading proprietary initiatives at KFC Yum! Center including AEG S.A.F.E., AEG 1Source, AEG 1EARTH, AEG 1Force, AEG Encore and AEG Energy Services.
