Ransdell, Roach and Royse announce new Lexington law firm

Lexington, Ky. – Keith Ransdell, John Roach and David Royse have announced the opening of their law firm, Ransdell Roach & Royse PLLC. The firm advises and represents individuals, businesses and entrepreneurs in connection with commercial litigation and transactions, labor and employment, Thoroughbred racing and breeding, constitutional law, and serious personal injury and wrongful death.

Keith Ransdell and John Roach were law school classmates who formed their own firm in 1996, after Ransdell practiced at the Nashville firm, Bass Berry and Sims, and Roach worked at the Washington, D.C. firm Akin Gump. David Royse was a partner at Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC. Each have extensive experience as “first-chair” lawyers in major litigation who also serve as trusted advisors to a diverse base of individual and business clients.

David Royse has served as a trusted legal advisor and handled major litigation for many of Kentucky’s top     businesses including Keeneland Association, The Jockey Club, Claiborne Farm, Louisville Gas & Electric Company, Kentucky Utilities, Kentucky American Water, Fifth Third Bank, and numerous others. In addition to a vigorous trial practice, John has successfully argued cases before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Kentucky Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. Since returning to private practice, John has represented a diverse group of individuals and businesses including Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Harrison Memorial Hospital, Bayer Properties (developers of The Summit at Fritz Farm), Dominion Enterprises, and Greer Companies (major franchisee of Cheddar’s Casual Café). With a passion for horse racing, he has participated in stallion syndications including Congrats and Pioneer of the Nile. Keith Ransdell began his law career at one of the largest law firms in Tennessee before returning to Kentucky.
