OWENSBORO, Ky. (May 22, 2012) — A free workshop on “Using Design as a Competitive Edge” will be offered Friday, May 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Owensboro Community and Technical College in the Advanced Tech Center – 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro. It is sponsored by Emerging Ventures Center for Innovation, Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation, Kentucky Science and Technology, and Owensboro Community and Technical College.
The workshop will explore the dynamics of great design and the important role design-manufacturing can play in a company’s future success and Kentucky’s economy. It will be about making products and processes a more memorable experience for the customer or user. Hear how others are incorporating the human experience into products and services.
Speakers include Richard A. Johnson with Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation, and Mathieu Keith with Alleviait, an IT services provider for small businesses.
