“Give Where You Live” program benefits local non-profits

good-foods-2‘Round Up’ program raised $3,436 for The Nest – Center for Women, Children and Families

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 15, 2016) – Good Foods Co-op will nominate different local non-profit organizations for their Give Where You Live program. Shoppers have the option to “round up” to the nearest dollar for the local non-profit of the month, or donate any amount. In May, the new “Round Up” program generated $3,436 to The Nest – Center for Women, Children and Families.

The recipients for June 2016 – April 2017 are:

June 2016: Central Kentucky Radio Eye

July 2016: GleanKY

August 2016: Seedleaf

September 2016: Habitat for Humanity

October 2016: Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center

November 2016: God’s Pantry

December 2016: Good Foods Charitable Foundation

January 2017: Catholic Action Center

February 2017: Hope Center

March 2017: The Arboretum

April 2017: Lexington Humane Society
