Fifth straight year Bowling Green has won award
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (July 12, 2016) — For the fifth consecutive year the City of Bowling Green was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (PAFR) by the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada. The award was for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2015.
A government entity must publish a Popular Annual Financial Report whose contents conform to program standards of creativity, presentation, understandability and reader appeal in order to receive an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Reporting, according to GFOA.
GFOA is a nonprofit professional association serving approximately 17,500 government finance professionals with offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
