Warm weather keeping other parks open

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 7, 2016) — Seven Kentucky State Park campgrounds will remain open through winter months. Ther are: Carter Caves, Columbus-Belmont, Fort Boonesborough, General Butler, Lake Cumberland, Paintsville Lake and Levi Jackson.

Due to mild temperatures in November, several other park campgrounds remain open. They include: Blue Licks Battlefield, Carr Creek, Grayson Lake, Green River, Greenbo Lake, Kenlake, My Old Kentucky Home, Taylorsville Lake and Yatesville Lake. These parks accept walk-in customers in the winter.
