Gonzaga now No. 1
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 30, 2017) — A bad week for the University of Kentucky basketball dropped it four places in the AP Top 25 to No. 8. UofL, which had two blowout victories last week, moved up seven places from No. 13 to No. 6.
UK (17-4) lost on the road to Tennessee, 82-80, then fell at home to No. 2 Kansas 73-66.
UofL (18-4) beat Pittsburgh 106-51 and North Carolina State 85-60.
Gonzaga (22-0) is ranked No. 1.
