LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 30, 2017) – A new, four-story medical office building now under construction will add even more amenities to the busy shopping and services hub at Old Brownsboro Crossing.

The McMahan Group, along with lead contractor Messer Construction Co., recently broke ground on the 100,000-s.f., four-story facility – the third medical office building at the development. The McMahan Group will lease the space to multiple tenants upon its completion in spring 2018.

“Adding another medical office building to Old Brownsboro Crossing underscores the fact that this development is attracting visitors from across the city and beyond for unique shopping, dining and consumer service experiences,” said Rory McMahan, managing partner of the McMahan Group. “We are excited to help meet the expanding health services needs in this community, and we welcome the additional jobs and services to Old Brownsboro Crossing.”

“Old Brownsboro Crossing has grown into an important community hub for more than retail – it’s a magnet for healthcare services,” said DiAnne Hutcherson, managing partner of the McMahan Group. “Health services remain in high demand throughout our region. Old Brownsboro Crossing offers our neighbors a chance to get the care they need in a comfortable location close to home.”

Approximately 300 construction workers will complete the project. The McMahan Group estimates that foundations will be finished in April 2017, with the entire facility under roof within a year. Weather permitting, the entire building should be complete in spring 2018.

“This is an exciting project in a dynamic development, and we’re looking forward to constructing another high-quality facility to serve Louisville families,” said John Megibben, vice president and region leader of Messer Construction Co. “We are executing an aggressive schedule to deliver this project quickly for our community.”

The McMahan Group hired TEG Architects, CMTA Engineers, and BTM Engineering to design the project.
