KentuckyOne Health, YMCA support community-wide enrollment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 21, 2012) — The American Cancer Society will host a press conference to officially announce a community-wide enrollment for its Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3), which is made possible in partnership with Saint Joseph Cancer Center, part of KentuckyOne Health and the YMCA of Central Kentucky.

The American Cancer Society CPS-3 will allow community members the opportunity to participate in a historic study that has the potential to change the face of cancer for future generations, according to an ACS press release.

Enrollment will take place in eight locations throughout Central Kentucky during Aug. 7-11.

The press conference — Monday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Hospital — will address the health, business and community impact of this collective effort.
