Also names project architect
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 15, 2017) — Samantha Castro has been named associate, urban designer at Lord Aeck Sargent. She is the first and only person to receive her LEED ND certification in the state of Kentucky.
Castro joined the company in 2012 as senior urban designer has held several supervisory and management roles on numerous urban design and planning projects throughout the country. She holds LEED Neighborhood Development and LEED Green Associate accreditations.
Castro received a master’s of landscape architecture and regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of arts in art history and French from Wellesley College. She is a member of the Kentucky Chapters of the U.S. Green Building Council, American Planning Association and Urban Land Institute.
Lord Aeck Sargent also hired Elisabeth Hunt as project architect. A registered architect with 13 years of experience, Hunt specializes in interior design, architecture and project management. Her diverse background includes K-12 and higher education facilities, multi-family housing, hospitality, commercial interiors, single-family residential, healthcare, government facilities and general commercial project work.
