LOUISVILLE, Ky. — E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville is hosting its Triathlon XXXI on Aug. 4 — with a course that includes swimming, cycling and running.
The course features a half-mile swim in the park’s 50-meter pool, a 14-mile cycling course and a 5K run.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. Registration is open and the deadline is July 20 at 6 p.m. There is a limit of 325 participants.
The registration fee is $70 per individual for USA Triathlon members; must include copy of USAT card with application. The fee is $82 per individual for non-USAT members. The extra $12 covers day-of-event USAT insurance. The fee is $100 per relay team. Non-USAT members must add $12 per person to cover USAT insurance. Entries should be submitted together.
