FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2018) — Kevin Wilson has joined the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) as an outreach counselor. He will travel the state with KHEAA’s College Info Road Show.

The Road Show is a mobile classroom equipped with wireless Internet access. Wilson will visit schools, adult education centers and other sites to help Kentuckians learn about their higher education options

“I am very excited about this opportunity,” Wilson, a native of Wisconsin, said. “I get to drive a really cool bus, and I get to make a real, meaningful difference in the lives of so many young people.”

Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Asbury University and studied at Asbury Theological Seminary. Before joining KHEAA he was a director of youth and family ministries, Challenge Course facilitator and school bus driver.

KHEAA is the state agency that administers the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES), need-based grants and other programs to help students pay their higher education expenses.
