Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 26, 2018) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Angela Marie Bazant has been appointed as City Commissioner for the City of Old Brownsboro Place.

  • Angela Marie Bazant, of Louisville, is a former teacher. She will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.

Old Brownsboro Place is a home rule-class city in Jefferson County and a part of the united Metro government. The population was 353 at the 2010 census.

Tony Wilson has been appointed as Magistrate for the First District of Greenup County. 

  • Tony Wilson, of Raceland, is a retired radio broadcaster for WLGC-FM. He will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution. 

Greenup County is located in northeast Kentucky. The population was 36,910 at the 2010 census.
