NKY Chamber hosts Cyber Security workshop May 1

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (April 25, 2018) ‘ The digital footprint of individuals and companies is constantly expanding, leaving people more open to identity theft than ever before.

On Tuesday, May 1, Mack Slocum, director of LegalShield, Inc, will present the next workshop in the Northern Kentucky Chamber Small Business Academy’s Cyber Security Workshop Series. Slocum will discuss various forms of identity theft including medical, tax fraud, drivers’ license, criminal, financial, social security and child identity theft. The class willbe held from 9-10 a.m. at the NKY Chamber (300 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, Ky.).

?Identity theft has a huge impact on victims that is both financial and emotional,? said Slocum. ?Individuals and businesses should be doing everything they can to understand their digital footprint and limit the potential of identity theft.?
