Gov. Bevin makes appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 25, 2018) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Wendy Fletcher has been appointed to Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Board of Regents.

? Dr. Wendy Fletcher, of Morehead, is an advanced practice registered nurse with St. Claire HealthCare. She currently holds volunteer positions with numerous community and professional organizations, including the Morehead State University Alumni Board, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, and the Medicaid Nursing Technical Advisory Committee. Fletcher will serve for a term expiring July 21, 2023.

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is governed by a 14-member Board of Regents. Eight members are appointed by the Governor, and six are elected members (two members of the teaching faculty elected by faculty, two members of the non-teaching personnel elected by non-teaching personnel, and two members of the student body elected by students).
