CHI Saint Joseph Health expands affiliation with Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center to include hospitals in Mount Sterling, Bardstown and London

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. — CHI Saint Joseph Health has announced an expansion of its affiliation with Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center that will enhance the capabilities of Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown and Saint Joseph London to provide patients in those areas with a higher level of cancer care closer to home.

The announcement comes a year and a half after CHI Saint Joseph Health and Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center launched their affiliation in Lexington.

The affiliation between Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center and CHI Saint Joseph Health–Cancer Care in  Mount Sterling, Bardstown and London will allow patients and oncologists the opportunity to access highly specialized treatment options and the ability to consult with world-renowned experts and subspecialists  Cleveland Clinic, which is one of the top five cancer centers in the country, according to a ranking by U.S. News and World Report.

The decision for an affiliation follows a rigorous review process of the care and services provided by CHI Saint Joseph Health–Cancer Care hospitals in Mount Sterling, Bardstown and London, similar to the same process in 2019 for CHI Saint Joseph Health–Cancer Care in Lexington.
