Kentucky launches ‘Shot at a Million’ vaccine incentive drawing

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky has launched a vaccine incentive that gives citizens who have received their COVID-19 vaccine a chance to win $1 million, or in the case of younger Kentuckians, the opportunity to win a full college scholarship.

Adults who have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine are eligible to enter the contest at shotatamillion.ky.gov. Those age 12-17 who have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will have the opportunity to win one of 15 full scholarships to a Kentucky public college, university, technical or trade school, including tuition, room and board, and books. Entry for the scholarships can also be found at shotatamillion.ky.gov.

Only one entry per person will be accepted, and each entry is eligible for all future drawings. (Winners will be removed from eligibility for future drawings.)
