Touch a Truck event returns to Kentucky Science Center

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —The Touch a Truck event is returning to the Kentucky Science Center on Saturday, June 26, giving adults and kids alike the chance to get hands-on with a variety of trucks and equipment, from bucket trucks to city buses.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held in the parking lot behind the facility, located at the corner of W. Washington and 8th Streets. Entry to Touch a Truck is free with regular admission to the Kentucky Science Center. Advance tickets are recommended and can be reserved at [kysciencecenter.org]kysciencecenter.org.

Trucks, heavy machinery, and other vehicles will be on hand courtesy of various community partners including Rumpke, Louisville Public Works, Louisville Metro Police Department, Mercer, LG&E, and Louisville City Football Club.

Touch a Truck is made possible thanks to the sponsorship of My Big Little Adventure, which offers a continually updated road map of activities, events and resources designed especially for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. New and existing My Big Little Adventure members will enjoy free admission to the Kentucky Science Center on the day of the event.
