LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Air Hydro Power (AHP) in Louisville, Ky., recently acquired assets of Gatterdam Industrial Services, which has over 65 years of experience in the electrical motor, monitoring and fluidic pump markets. Gatterdam also has a complete repair facility and field service.
“With the business landscape changing rapidly, it was important for me to find a partner like AHP with the resources & expertise to give us every possible competitive advantage,” said Schuyler John, president of Gatterdam Industrial Services.
With this acquisition, Air Hydro Power welcomes 20 new employees. Schuyler will remain general manager of the Gatterdam Division of AHP.
In September, AHP acquired certain assets of Huntington Hose and Hydraulics of Huntington West Virginia. Huntington Hose has experience in the hydraulic hose, industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic markets.
Huntington Hose has three locations: Huntington, W.Va., Winchester, Ky., and South Point, Ohio. Huntington Hose has over 63 years of experience in the hydraulic hose, industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic markets. Huntington Hose also has a complete repair facility focusing on hydraulic cylinder and pump repair.
Headquartered in Louisville, AHP is an industrial distributor serving the Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia and southeastern Ohio markets. It specializes in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical automation, and hose and fittings.
