In addition to new leadership, the foundation also welcomed two new independent directors. Rocki Rockingham, chief HR officer of GE Appliances, and Ja Hillebrand, chairman and CEO of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co., were selected for three-year director terms. Russ Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare, also joins the foundation as an ex-officio director in his role as the 2022 Chair-Elect of Greater Louisville Inc.’s (GLI) Board of Directors.

“We are thrilled to welcome new leadership and new directors to the Greater Louisville Foundation,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “GLF plays an important role in supporting and funding degreed and non-degreed talent initiatives identified through GLI’s strategic planning process that have the potential to transform our community and regional economy. I am confident each of these leaders will bring their unique perspectives and skills to amplify our work.”

GLF is a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 1987 to identify, mobilize and fund programs to address Louisville’s greatest challenges regarding business growth, and increased economic prosperity for all citizens in the Greater Louisville region. Currently, the GLF funds Live in Lou and GLI’s Workforce and Education Initiatives.
