JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. — In addition, to the brand launch, the Jeffersontown Chamber will honor regional businesses for economic development, leadership, entrepreneurism and innovation. The BOOM Awards are sponsored by Middleton Reutlinger.
The winner of each category will be announced at the Annual Dinner. This year’s nominees for the BOOM Awards (Best Of Our Members) are:
Entrepreneurism: This award goes to a company that is privately owned and carries the spirit of business ownership and community engagement. These companies have had to face many challenges in the last 24 months to stay in business and have come out the other side with more customers and more revenue.

Innovation: Nominees in this category represent companies of various sizes who had to pivot and re-invent themselves. They still experienced company growth, sustain and/or hired employees and have created a new business model in the process.

Leadership: The Leadership category of the BOOM Awards recognizes companies who demonstrated a leadership perspective in making the Chamber and the Jeffersontown economy better through their economic investment, volunteerism and/or community engagement.

Economic Development: Nominees in this category experienced exponential growth over the last 18 months through the creation of new jobs and/or revenues.
