DHL Express gives CVG Global Hub workers 15-18% pay increase

DHL Express’ global hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is the company’s largest facility in North America.

PLANTATION, Fla.—DHL Express, a global leader in providing international express shipping services, announced that effective August 20 it raised wages for hourly employees at its global hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport from 15% to as much as 18%.

For example, the starting pay for hub operations agents will now range from $20 to $23 an hour, depending on shifts/benefits.

In addition to the wage increase, other employee benefits at the DHL CVG hub include tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays, two raises per year, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, health benefits with an onsite medical clinic, free employee meals, and a variety of flexible work schedules. Existing and new employees also have the opportunity to participate in the company’s externally accredited Certified International Specialist / Manager training platform as well as its career advancement programs.

DHL Express through its CVG hub connects the U.S. and the broader Americas region to the rest of the world.  It has invested nearly $70 million in hub upgrades over the last few years, including new aircraft handling equipment, autosort systems, workplace safety initiatives  and various facility remodels and enhancements.
