LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The leadership of Indianapolis-based Schmidt Associates, a regional architecture, engineering, and interior design firm, is pleased to announce that Kathryn Giles, MBA, has been named business development representative for the firm’s Louisville office.
With a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s in business administration from Bellarmine University, Giles previously served as director of marketing for Weber Group, Inc., where she developed solution-based strategies and championed growth for the firm and its clients. She is a member of the local council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI Kentucky), a board member for the New Directions Housing Corp., and a Fillies Ball committee member for Fillies, Inc. Additionally, she is a member of the Louisville chapters of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and Woman in Commercial Real Estate.

Giles will be responsible for establishing connections within the Louisville, Ky. business community and working with key decision-makers and designers to improve the Midwest’s built environment in the areas of K-12, higher education, community, and healthcare.
