Spotlight Profile: Tracy Hardin, president of Next Century Technologies

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Tracy Hardin is the founder and President of Next Century Technologies. She is originally from Ohio but has been a Kentucky resident since 1977.

Mrs. Hardin completed her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. Her continuing education includes computer networking and design certifications from Novell and Cisco.

She spent over a decade doing network administration in the corporate world before leaving in 2001. Her passion is helping business owners manage IT, and her clientele hails from many different sectors, including;

  • Manufacturing
  • Accounting

Tracy knows that no matter the sector, all businesses want their computers to work and work well, and that’s what Next Century Technologies is all about. 

Next Century Technologies is a Commerce Lexington Bronze Investor. Tracy also participates in their Business Owner Advisory Board program.

She recently completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Babson University in Boston.

Tracy and her husband, Joel, live in Lexington. She has one daughter in high school, Sarah, and an older stepdaughter, Sierha. She also shares her house with a Frisbee-loving mutt, Brie, and a calico kitty named Lily.
