LEXINGTON, Ky. — Baptist Health Lexington has again been awarded the HeartCARE Center, National Distinction of Excellence by the American College of Cardiology.
The HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence is the highest honor the ACC awards to an organization and Baptist Health Lexington is the only Kentucky hospital to be named a HeartCARE Center five years in a row by the college.
The award recognizes institutions that demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional cardiovascular care, process improvement and sustainable quality improvement through participation in multiple ACC accreditations and ongoing cardiovascular registry reporting.
This program provides a way to publicly spotlight elite hospitals that go above and beyond to ensure excellence in all care aspects and establish a repeat track record of outstanding performance.
