LEXINGTON, Ky. — Heather S. Temple has joined the Honaker Law Office in Lexington as an associate. Temple previously served as a staff attorney for the Kentucky Public Service Commission and the Kentucky Siting Board and was the lead attorney on numerous complex cases involving the siting of utility scale solar projects and multiple types of cases involving electric and natural gas utilities. 

Honaker Law Office was founded in August 2022 by L. Allyson Honaker, who was a former partner at Goss Samford PLLC and served as a staff attorney with the Kentucky Public Service Commission. Honaker has over 15 years of experience in utility law and has represented clients in the electric, natural gas, water and solar industries. 

Brittany Hayes Koenig joined the firm in October 2022 after nearly six years as an attorney with the Kentucky Public Service Commission, including serving as assistant general counsel. At the PSC she led legal and finance teams for a wide range of cases, with a strong focus on water utility rates and infrastructure issues. At Honaker Law Office, she has handled cases for electric, natural gas, water and solar clients before the Kentucky PSC and Kentucky Siting Board.
