LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 3, 2018) – Louisville’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNPE) has announced the winners of their 2018 Pyramid Awards and Lifetime Achievement Award honoree.
“Nonprofit leaders boldly tackle challenges each day in inspiring, visionary, and collaborative ways to ensure that our whole community can thrive,” said CNPE Interim CEO, Ann Coffey. “The Pyramid Awards represent our opportunity to highlight their accomplishments and celebrate their excellence.”
Presented annually at the CNPE Annual Conference, the Pyramid Awards are designed to recognize the essential value of the region’s nonprofit sector. CNPE recognizes and celebrates commanding contributions by nonprofit in six areas: Collaboration, Governance, Inclusion, Leadership, Social Innovation, and Vision. Additionally, a Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual for a lifetime of service that has benefited the nonprofit sector.

The 18th annual conference will take place this October 9, 2018 at the Louisville Downtown Marriott.
CNPE’s conference brings together nonprofit, corporate, and public sector leaders to learn, build relationships, and celebrate excellence. With this year’s theme, CHANGEMAKERS, CNPE has created an opportunity to harness the energy in the community in order to catalyze meaningful change. Community members will have the chance to scale innovative ideas, become more adaptive to changes in the sector, and engage in critical community conversations.
