The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has approved $198 million in tax increment financing (TIF) for an extensive mixed-use project along Dayton’s riverfront. The Manhattan Harbour project will include up to 2,000 homes, a marina, 230,800-s.f. of neighborhood retail space, a 150-room hotel, a public walking trail and neighborhood parks. Developer C&M Investment Group hopes to open commercial businesses on the site in 2011, with the first phase centered around the marina and restaurant and entertainment venues.
