Kentucky-based Halloween Express chain featured in Travel Channel’s ‘Making Monsters’

Owenton, KY – October 24, 2012— Halloween Express, the Owenton, Ky.-based seasonal costume retailer that bills itself as where America shops for Halloween, will be featured on The Travel Channel series “Making Monsters” season 2 premiering  Sunday, September 30.

The photo prop built on the show is on display Halloween Express locations at 125 E. Reynolds Road, Suite 150,  and 1387 E. New Circle Road in Lexington, Ky., and  Somerset Mall in Somerset, Ky.

“Making Monsters” will air two episodes back to back featuring Halloween Express. The first episode features the Houston Halloween Show and the second episode features footage from Halloween Express in Florence, Ky.

The show will follow the concept, design and installation of a custom Halloween “prop” that will only be seen at select Halloween Express locations across the United States.

“Monster Makers,” a series on the Travel Channel produced by Brian Leonard, will focus on Distortion’s Animatronics from Greely, Colo., which has been leading the way in the haunted attraction industry for over 30 years. The show highlights the process, production and the final results for the movies, retailers and haunted attractions that feature their products.
