Health Enterprises Network names Sullivan provost to board

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sullivan University Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Diana Lawrence has joined the Health Enterprises Network (HEN) Board of Directors.

The Health Enterprises Network is the region’s premier health care business network. Formed by area leaders in 2000, HEN’s mission is to champion and foster the growth of the Greater Louisville Region’s health care economy.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Lawrence to the board of directors and look forward to a continued collaboration with Sullivan University,” said David Henley, Health Enterprises Network chairman of the board. “Education is a critical component of economic development and building Louisville’s health-related community. Dr. Lawrence’s experience will be a valuable asset to this organization.”

“With the appointment of Dr. Lawrence, the Health Enterprise Network board has added an exceptional professional who will bring a tremendous amount of talent, knowledge and expertise to the work of the organization,” said Sullivan University President Dr. Jay Marr. “Her service to Sullivan University has been exemplary and there’s no doubt her contribution to the HEN board will be equally remarkable.”

HEN — an affiliate of Greater Louisville Inc. — is the convener that breaks down barriers, opens doors and is the catalyst for engagement with health care professionals and leaders.

“I am so honored to be appointed to this prestigious board,” Dr. Lawrence said. “I am excited to utilize my 30 plus years of higher education and industry experience for the benefit of HEN.”
