Siemer Milling Co. has received $3 million from the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corp. to help support a $15 million expansion of the company’s wheat processing operations in Hopkinsville. Siemer, which has been in business for 126 years, primarily produces wheat flour milled to different specifications for the baking industry, but also engages in other flour-based businesses such as glue extenders. The expansion will increase Siemer’s annual capacity by 3.5 million bushels.
