Emerson Power Transmission has acquired System Plast, an Italian company with 400 employees that produces engineered modular belts and custom conveyor components for the bottling, baking food processing and packaging industries. Emerson Power Transmission, which has headquarters in Florence, produces power transmission drives, components and bearings under the Browning, Sealmaster, Rollway, Morse, US Gearmotors, McGill and Kop-Flex brands. The company has 14 manufacturing and distribution facilities. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
