Appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Appointed the Honorable James Rodman Redd III as Circuit Judge for the 56th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky.

Appointed the Honorable Carl D. Devine as Circuit Judge for the 22nd Judicial Circuit, Family Division 6, of Kentucky.

Appointed the Honorable Jeffrey Len Dotson as Circuit Judge for the 50th Judicial Circuit, Division 1, of Kentucky.

Appointed Fred Sipes as a member of the Agriculture Water Quality Authority.

  • Fred Sipes of Ekron is a farmer at F.L. Sipes Farm. He replaces Todd Clark, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring March 2, 2026.

Reappointed Zachary Casa and Margaret Meredith as members of the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology.

  • Zachary Casa of Lexington is a cosmetologist and shall serve for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2024.
  • Margaret Meredith of Harrodsburg is a certified public accountant at Margaret W. Meredith CPA and shall serve for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2024.

Appointed Molly Davis and Erin Hathaway as members of the Kentucky Board of Landscape Architects.

  • Molly Davis of Lexington is a landscape architect and director of The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky. She replaces Brock MacKay, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring March 11, 2025.
  • Erin Hathaway of Lexington is a landscape architect at Gresham Smith. She replaces Patrick Hoagland, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring March 11, 2025.

Appointed Bill Patrick as a member of the Board of Auctioneers.

  • Bill Patrick of Salyersville is an auctioneer. He replaces Cliff-Ed Irvin, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring Feb. 22, 2025.

Appointed Patricia Hart as a member of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Art Therapists.

  • Patricia Hart of Prospect is a contract teaching artist and art therapist. She replaces Judith Magder, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring March 18, 2026.
