Construction has begun of Alltech Pavillion at World Equestrian Games

Event is in Normandy

CAEN, France (Aug. 5, 2014) — With less than four weeks to go to the official opening ceremony of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy, excitement is brewing as construction commences on the Alltech Pavilion. Construction crews are currently transforming the land surrounding the Caen Exhibition Centre, which will play host to the 2014 Games Village where the Alltech Pavilion will be located. The Games Village will offer entertainment and a variety of exhibitions accessible free of charge to everyone holding a Games sport ticket or with the purchase of a Games Village ticket. In total, the Games Village is spread over an area of 110,000 square meters, with no fewer than 500 exhibition horses and 450 people working on site.

Exhibits at the Alltech Pavilion examine key global challenges to feeding a growing population in a healthy and sustainable way. Visitors can explore the world of scientific innovation in areas such as algae and DHA omega-3 enrichment, crop science, life science, nutrigenomics, farming and animal health. Visitors will discover Alltech’s passionate commitment to curiosity-driven research, which leads Alltech to natural, nutritional solutions for the food and feed industries around the world.
