Walt Robertson will continue working in other capacities
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 1, 2015) — Keeneland announced today that Walt Robertson, Vice President of Sales, will retire from day-to-day duties on June 30. Robertson will continue to serve as part of the Keeneland Auction Team and as the lead on the Annual Sporting Art Auction at Keeneland in November. He also will continue to assist on special projects.
Under Robertson’s leadership, Keeneland’s market share has continued to grow and its domestic and worldwide presence has expanded at an even more rapid pace. Keeneland has also experienced yearly increases in gross sales since 2012.
President and CEO Bill Thomason will assume the leadership role of Keeneland Sales.
