“Catherine, Jessica and Stephanie are important appointments for our administration as they bring extensive experience and depth to our team,” said Bevin. “As we focus on solving problems and improving the lives of all Kentuckians, they will be instrumental in ensuring that our team is accessible and effectively communicating with the public.”

Easley’s focus will be on ensuring that programs and communications foster a greater understanding of Bevin’s agenda, his administration and its mission. Easley has served as the Communications Director for Congressmen Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), Andy Barr (R-Ky.), and Bob Gibbs (R-Ohio), and has previously worked in the Congressional offices of former Congresswoman Anne M. Northup and former Sen. Jim Bunning.

In addition to her time on Capitol Hill, Easley also worked on political campaigns and in the private sector. During Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, Easley was the Republican National Committee’s formal spokesperson and media liaison in the top-targeted battleground state of Ohio. In 2009, Easley was appointed by Commissioner Northup to be her Press Secretary at the Consumer Product Safety Commission. During the 2008 election cycle, Easley worked in the Political Department of the National Republican Congressional Committee. She has also worked at private firms DCI Group and OnMessage Inc. Originally from Louisville, Easley graduated from Wake Forest University.

Ditto joins the administration having served as Communications Director for the Bevin-Hampton campaign and transition office. She has more than ten years of political and public sector communications experience. Prior to the campaign, Ditto was Director of Education Program Operations for the national non-profit organization Connected Nation based in Bowling Green. She has worked for Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher, the Republican Party of Kentucky, and Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe. She resides in Lexington and is a graduate of Asbury University.

Nelson handles scheduling for the Governor, Lt. Governor and First Lady. She has ten years of experience in non-profit association work, most recently working with the Kentucky Association for Economic Developers, helping developers and suppliers across the state. Nelson, a native of Bardstown and graduate of Kentucky State University, lives in Frankfort with her two daughters.
