Evelyn Strange named board chair of Greater Louisville Inc.

LOUISVILLE (May 24, 2017) – Evelyn Strange, president of AES Advanced Electrical Systems, Inc. was unanimously chosen to serve as chair of Greater Louisville Inc.’s board of directors for the remainder of 2017 through 2018.

Strange is the co-owner and founder of AES Advanced Electrical Systems, Inc., which is one of Kentucky’s largest electrical contracting and engineering companies. The company has expertise in virtually every field of electrical construction: Design/Build services, industrial and commercial developments as well as, government, institutional, data centers, healthcare, educational facilities, public works, bio-tech/pharmaceutical, defense industry, high security facilities, with a focus on innovative technologies.

Greater Louisville Inc. also added a new member to its board of directors. Dr. Todd Mooradian, elected by the board on May 23, is the Dean of the College of Business at the University of Louisville. He previously served as an associate dean at William & Mary and has extensive experience as a marketing consultant and academic.

Greater Louisville Inc. is private, non-profit 501(c)6 organization governed by a volunteer board of directors consisting of 48 voting members and 27 non-voting members. The board’s executive committee is made up of 11 elected members from the board of directors. Officers of board include the chair, immediate past chair, secretary, and treasurer.
