Middleton Reutlinger names chair of litigation group

Elisabeth “Libby” S. Gray

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 26, 2018) — Middleton Reutlinger today announced that Director Elisabeth “Libby” S. Gray has been named chair of the firm’s litigation group effective immediately.

She leads a litigation team that handles client disputes in a wide variety of subject areas, including commercial, intellectual property, professional liability, real estate and employment among others.

Gray is a litigator whose practice focuses on unfair competition, including disclosure of trade secrets and enforcing non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. In addition to her unfair competition practice, Gray has a range of experience including prosecuting and defending jurisdictional litigation, IP litigation, complex contractual disputes, real estate litigation, bankruptcy court adversary proceedings, and other general commercial litigation.

“Libby has a proven track record in some of the firm’s most complex cases, and is a leader who has taken on multiple leadership roles internally, most recently as attorney recruitment chair,” said Middleton Reutlinger’s Managing Director Hank Alford. “Libby has earned the respect of firm colleagues and clients, and we are pleased to have her take on this significant leadership position.”

Gray is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. She is an active participant in multiple organizations, including GLOW (Greater Louisville Outstanding Women) and DRI Women in the Law. Gray has been named a Kentucky Super Lawyer for the past eight years. She has also been recognized by Benchmark Litigation, the Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys, in Intellectual Property and by Louisville Business First with a Forty under 40 Outstanding Young Leader Award.
