LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 13, 2018) — The Louisville Professional Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) and The Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NEW) will host Sherry Mulkins, vice president for client outreach and development at the World Trade Center Kentucky, and Dr. Sharon Kerrick, entrepreneur and dean of Bellarmine University’s Rubel School of Business, as guest speakers at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.

This joint event will be held at the Ormsby Three office building, lower level, 10200 Forest Green Boulevard, Louisville Ky.

“Sherry Mulkins and Dr. Sharon Kerrick are both leaders in their field and valuable resources in our community,” said Jill Morzillo, president of the NAWMBA Louisville Professional Chapter. “We are pleased they are able to share their business knowledge with entrepreneurs in our community, many of whom are poised to help lead our city’s growth and development.”

During the event, attendees will learn about the revenue stream and resources for Kentucky businesses that they may not have considered. In addition, attendees will network and build relationships with fellow professionals in the region.

“Many small businesses do not know about support available for international sales from entities such as the World Trade Center and SBA,” said Marisa Neal, NEW board member. “Given the value of Kentucky goods and services exported during 2017 exceeded $30 billion – it is a good time to consider it.  We are excited to have Dr. Kerrick, who was recently awarded the Most Admired Woman in Education by Today’s Woman magazine, share her knowledge with us during the presentation with Sherry Mulkins and network at the event.”

The event is open to the public. Non-members and students are welcome to attend. For more information and to register, visit www.nawmba.org/page/Louisville or http://www.nentw.com/new-events.
