BB&T names corporate banking manager

CINCINNATI (June 22, 2018) — BB&T has named Craig J. Carlson as corporate banking manager, headquartered for Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.

A native of Russellville, Ky., Carlson earned a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of Kentucky. Upon graduation, he entered BB&T’s Leadership Development Program.

In 2006, he joined BB&T as a business services officer in the Greater Nashville area where he served until 2012, when he accepted a commercial banker position in Northern Ky./Greater Cincinnati. Most recently, Craig served as the market president for BB&T in Lexington, Ky. before being promoted to Corporate Banking Group manager.

A tremendous advocate of civic and community involvement, Carlson was recently honored as Northern Kentucky’s “Emerging Philanthropist,” given to a philanthropic leader who gives generously of time, experience and resources for benefit of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and inspires others to do the same.

He received the honor for his leadership and board work through St. Elizabeth Hospital, Northern Kentucky University’s College of Informatics, the Alliance for Catholic Education, The Catalytic Fund, and The Carnegie.
