Gov. Bevin makes appointment to Murray State University Board of Regents

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 6, 2018) — Gov. Matt Bevin today appointed Eric Fletcher Crigler, of Germantown, Tenn., to the Murray State University (MSU) Board of Regents.

Crigler is a veteran of the financial services industry, having helped found firms in the fields of investment management, health care services, reinsurance and auto finance. After graduating cum laude from MSU with a bachelor of science in mathematics, he earned his MBA degree in finance and economics from Indiana University.

“I will always be thankful for the role that Murray State University played in my personal and professional development,” said Crigler. “I am excited by the opportunity to serve this wonderful university as a member of the board of regents.”

While playing football for MSU, Crigler earned the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Scholar-Athlete Award and was awarded a prestigious National Collegiate Athletic Association post-graduate scholarship. He was selected in the National Football League draft and played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1990 and 1991.
