Frontier begins nonstop service from Louisville to Austin, Texas

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 14, 2018) — Frontier Airlines announced Monday a new, nonstop flight to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Austin, Texas from Louisville International Airport (SDF).

With this service, additional connections are available to select cities across the Frontier network. Nonstop flights to Austin are offered twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, using a 180-seat Airbus A320.

“It’s very exciting that Frontier is expanding service at Louisville International – just a few months after beginning flights to Denver,” said Dan Mann, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. “This convenient and affordable nonstop route allows Austin residents to take advantage of all that our community has to offer.”

Frontier, which offers service to more than 80 destinations in the U.S., Canada, Dominican Republic and Mexico, is focused on offering customers real choice and the ability to customize their travel to their needs and budget. For more than 12 consecutive months, Louisville International Airport has experienced a consistent increase in passenger traffic.
