Four Roses Distillery unveils new visitor’s center to cap $2.4 million in improvements

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (Sept. 7, 2012) — Four Roses Distillery will open its new visitors center on Monday to kick off Kentucky Bourbon Festival week.

The new visitors center and tasting experience is part of a $2.4 million, 5,000-square-foot expansion of the distillery property, which has seen significant gains in tourist visits in recent years. Additionally, 9,000-square-foot of office space was added onto the property earlier this year.

In addition to a ribbon cutting, a special limited-quantity single barrel bourbon has been selected to mark the occasion and will be unveiled at the event, which begins at 10 a.m. at the distillery on Bonds Mill Road in Lawrenceburg.

Private tours also will be available.
