Lane closures scheduled this weekend at I-75 Exit 90 southbound

RICHMOND, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2012) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced temporary closures affecting southbound traffic at Exit 90 on Interstate 75 from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Monday.

During the closure, one southbound land of traffic will be closed as well as Exit 90-A, which allows southbound motorists to leave I-75 and continue southward on US 25.

Motorists will be able to leave I-75 at Exit 90-B, which puts them on northbound US 25, but the southbound on ramp will be closed. Motorists in the Exit 90 area who need to drive south on I-75 will need to enter at either Exit 95 or Exit 87.

A signed detour will be in place. The closures are needed for pavement resurfacing and completion of safety enhancements.

The Transportation Cabinet asks the traveling public to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the area.
