Barbasol Championship announces advisory board and tournament ambassadors

Dynamic team of volunteer leaders will help enhance the overall tournament experience

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — Barbasol Championship tournament director Bryan Pettigrew announced the newly formed 2019 tournament advisory board and ambassadors Wednesday night at a special event held at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club. The Barbarsol Championship, a PGA Tour sanctioned event, will be played July 15-21. The tournament will be held at the Nicholasville course through 2023.

The board guides and consults with tournament leadership on issues affecting the Barbasol Championship providing oversight and vision for the future while serving as tournament champions charged with deepening and expanding stakeholder relations throughout the commonwealth.

The advisory board, which includes Mitch Barnhart, Bruce Drake, William B. Frye, Evan Mossbarger, Bobbi Turner, Lauren Vernon, Lee Webb and Jon Weece, will act as the Barbasol Championship board of directors.

Barbasol Championship ambassadors will educate and engage with the community to promote the brand and vision, support sales effort of the staff and management while encouraging and promoting Barbasol Championship charitable partners and the game of golf.

Ambassadors include Dougie Allen, David Bertram, Jamie Bloyd, Kelley Bozeman, Ryan Bridgeman, Cameron Clark, Brian Craig, KC Crosbie, Lee Cruse, Scottie Day, Steve Deaton, Stewart Ditto, Pat Duff, Doug Flynn, Tom Francis, Crinda Franke, Vince Gabbert, Trey Grayson, Scott Henry, Ryan Hillard, Aaron Hogue, Jimmy Kirchdorfer, Kristy Lowery, Keith Madison, Christa Marrillia, Brian McCarty, Grant Mills, Clay Mossbarger, Chester Musselman, Brent Paladino, Bob Russell, Brett Setzer, Fred Siegelman, Bill Shively, Patty Smith, Bradley Stevenson, Mark Stoops, Chris Sullivan, Daren Turner, Troy Turner, Alan VanArsdall, and Larry Ward.

An announcement on the 2019 Barbasol Championship charity partnerships will be made at the Kentucky Derby.
