LEXINGTON, Ky. — Mitch Long has been named a vice president of GRW, a Lexington-based multidiscipline engineering, architecture and geospatial services design firm.

Long is accomplished in most areas of the surveying and mapping industry, and he has more than 28 years of professional experience, including 17 with GRW. He is a registered professional land surveyor in Kentucky, as well as a certified photogrammetrist, and geographic information system professional.

Long manages aerial mapping and photogrammetry projects, as well as business development, for GRW Aerial Surveys. He’s integral to the success of many of GRW’s geospatial projects and services — land surveying, GIS, airport obstruction analysis, digital orthophotography, LiDAR data collection (airborne, mobile, etc.), aerial mapping — and works with clients ranging from municipal and state governments to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Air National Guard.
